Just try, its better then nothing (8.00)
"I have a Class B Felony for Residential Burglary, and I applied less then 1 year from the date I got arrested and convicted and Goodwill hired me as a donation attendant. I've worked for Home Depot, and not only did they turn me down, but so did Wal-Mart, Xerox, Merry Maids and the the WA state Department of Health. All you can do is try. Be honest if they ask you. I didn't even get asked about my felony and was hired and passed the background check."

Regards to referred employees (4.00)
"I worked at Goodwill as a referred employee and they treat people with disabilities very badly. The skills trainers think they are better then people with disabilities. They don't pay worth a crap either. I think that a employee is someone that you hire and pay so it should not matter that I am a referred or not. I have the same rights as any American does. They should pay people at least min wage instead of by the piece. I thought a law passed that they had to pay us at least min wage. I advocated for others that could not for themselves and I got wrote up for it. They can talk rude to us but when we put them in their place I get in trouble. I would never go back to this company ever again."

"Goodwill is showing no Felony restrictions, but when I applied for them in person the manager was sure everything would be fine and that I was more than qualified. I scored high in several areas on their personality test and with my application I submitted a Letter of Explanation and they turned me down due to my felony charge. (Which goodwill, and do you have a violent felony?)"

The Stores in AZ Do Not Hire Felons (4.67)
"I applied at a Goodwill Store in the Mesa area, hoping to get hired since the slogan of Goodwill is "We put people to work." After a great interview and background check, they rejected my application because my background check failed. If you have had any felonies in the past 10 years, don't waste your time."
