company is felon friendly - contractors are a different story (7.67)
"Aramark is known for being felon friendly, but they are contracted by many companies and institutions that are not. For instance, Aramark does a lot of food service and facilities management at college campuses, hospitals, stadiums, etc. And at least half of those places require a background check. So while Aramark itself doesn't discriminate, calling them felon friendly is misleading because the college or company that contracts their services might discriminate. A good example is one college where Aramark does dining services. This past summer they had a jobs fair and hired a bunch of new workers, but half the people they hired failed the background check so they couldn't offer them the jobs. So if you're applying for Aramark, it's a good idea to ask what the policy is for the institution that signed them, since that will determine your chances of getting hired."

"This company is felony friendly; however, your record is checked on a 7-yr background check so as long as you have nothing on your record within the last 7 years they are felon friendly"
